Pre-School

Pre School

We aim to develop an engaging environment that supports children’s curiosity and wonder. Our curriculum is shaped with the help of globally acknowledged academic practices. At CreoVille, we offer a 3-year pre-primary course for children, which can help them with 21stcentury skills and become independent learners.

Nursery

We believe in providing children with a friendly learning ambience where they can gradually get exposed to different skills, without stress. The curriculum is completely based on multiple story-telling sessions and fun-filled activities. We also focus on number and letter recognition along with the development of pincer grip, with detailed activities enhancing fine and gross motor muscle development of children.

LKG

In the LKG curriculum, a learner’s academic areas are taken care of thoroughly. Circle Time is conducted during this period to encourage a child to express and articulate their feelings. We also emphasise the development of socio-emotional health in children during this period. The subjects are mostly taught to children via rhymes, stories and structured play.

UKG

Our UKG curriculum focuses more on tracing and writing, as the pincer
grip is better developed at this age. The curriculum tailors academic
subjects with stories to cater to sensitive topics that are complicated and hard to talk about. We, at CreoVille, make sure that children grow up to be mindful and learn about their social surroundings. The UKG curriculum focuses on the collaborative learning method that enhances learners’ communication skills and helps them to stay emotionally connected with their peers and educators.

Philosophy

CreoVille started with the aim of creating a system of progressive practices that promote age-appropriate learning and can be easily adapted by educators and school leaders globally.

Our core philosophy can be been envisioned as the following:

  • Age-appropriate and child-centred curriculum
  • Nurture inherent curiosity in children by making them learn through experimentation, exploration and collaboration
  • Foster a love for reading in children
  • Emphasise the socio-emotional health of children as much as the pursuit of academic excellence
  • Individualised attention to every child’s needs

Our pedagogy and physical set up are designed to cater to each child so that they enjoy the process of learning and strive to be a progressive global citizen

Learning environment

Reader's Den

The Reader’s Den is a small cosy area specially designed to create a conducive environment for the children. The objective is to provide children with a unique experience and inspire them to read.

Apart from having a class library corner, the Reader’s Den also houses puppet theatres for teachers to use during story-telling and for children to explore during their free time.

Pretend Play Area

Imagination is one of the finest assets a child has and we
keep no stone unturned to spark that creativity. At CreoVille, we provide children with space where they engage themselves in pretend play scenarios and actively experiment with different social and emotional roles. Pretend play provides children with a variety of problems to solve and thus, enhances their thinking skills. We also keep a prop box or a corner filled with objects
to create a fantasy world for our preschoolers.

Water play

Water play can be considered as one of the most popular activities in schools. At CreoVille, we allow children to learn with hands-on materials and understand things through senses. Apart from that, the water body introduces learners to early concepts of physics such as motion and flow of water, thereby enhancing their higher order thinking skills. They also get a chance to share props and communicate with their mates, which augments their social skills.

Kitchen Garden

Gardening is a creative hobby that is known to help us stay connected to the earth and learn the importance of it. We, at CreoVille, have introduced kitchen gardening to children at an early age, so that they can witness gardening and actively participate in it. In the process of doing so, they also learn the value of trees and planting them. Moreover, learners get the essence of belonging when they plant a sapling and see it grow. The objective of having the kitchen garden is to not only induce various skills in children but also make them responsible for nature and its myriad elements.

Sand Play

Similar to Water Play, Sand Play adds value to learners’ sensory development. At the same time, their mathematical skills develop via the experiences of sand play. For instance, children can learn how many cups of sand it takes to fill a bucket and in the process, get an idea about numbers. Sand play intensifies the creativity of children where they try to shape sand and form different objects, giving free rein to their imagination. An activity like this involves children in communication and develops their
interactive skills.

Outdoor Play

Childhood is about jumping, running, climbing, racing, hiding, and having a lot of fun. Outdoor activities like these fulfil children’s basic needs for freedom, adventure, experimentation, risk-taking, etc. Their exposure to the outdoors spurs the development of gross motor skills. If a child grows up without closely looking at nature, they may never understand what is there to be experienced and felt. At CreoVille, we ensure that children appreciate the beauty of nature and learn about it by partaking in different outdoor games.
